Many factors can influence motivation and achievement in sport settings: a capacity for autonomy of the athletes, their competence and 👍 social ties established.

This study was a descriptive, aimed at analyzing the motivation level of soccer and volleyball teams in two 👍 counties of the state of Parana - Brazil, which have characteristics different socioeconomic and financial investments in relation to sports 👍 activities.

The study subjects were 47 athletes from volleyball and indoor soccer adult category.

To measure the level of motivation of the 👍 athletes was used Motivation Scale for Sport.

For comparison between groups used the Mann Whitney U test for non-normal data, the 👍 Student t test for independent normal data and analysis of variance Kruskal-Wallis, setting the significance level of 5%.
