In October 2002 a group of more than 65 Rotarians from Seattle paid their own way to travel about halfway around the world to Ethiopia. There they worked for a week to support the local health workers in the administration of oral polio vaccine and vitamin A during the National Immunization Days. Since that time, many more Rotarians have followed in their footsteps, bringing the vaccine, hope, and love to thousands of Ethiopian children.
Please navigate this website by following the links to the left. We hope it will help to inform you and possibly inspire you to consider joining us on our next NID trip to Ethiopia.
If you would like to schedule a presentation on the polio eradication effort for your local Rotary Club, please contact Jan Nutting to arrange for a speaker.
Larger and higher quality versions of the photos used on this website may be obtained by contacting Kevin Talbot, the webmaster. Many of these can be downloaded on the Links & Downloads page.
We hope this site will inspire you to consider traveling with us to Ethiopia in the fall of 2009. It truly is the trip of a lifetime.
