Apollo Global Management, the private equity firm behind the two Strip properties, is considering a deal to acquire International Game Technology's global gaming and digital gaming divisions for an estimatedR$4 billion toR$5 billion, according to a Sept. 13 report from Bloomberg News. IGT is a global leader in gaming. It is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the trading symbol "IGT," and its holding company headquarters are in the United Kingdom, with operating headquarters in Rome, Italy; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Providence, Rhode Island.
